There was Sonic the hedgehog, the fastest thing alive, Blazing across the land with incredible speed. "Tails said the building waaasss.. This way!" Sonic said to himself as he drifted around the tight twists and turns of the forest and its trees. When Sonic popped out from the forest's end he observed a slightly large building that was oddly shaped, and by oddly shaped I mean a building with a gigantic needle-like structure pertruding from it that apparently went all the way up to the clouds and didn't stop there!
A flyer of some sort was lying on the ground which read "Come one Come all to EGGMAN'S Incredible Interstellar amusement park!! will be open to the public November 17th.". "Amusement Park huh?" Sonic scoffed while glaring at the needle-like structure "We'll see about that!".
Sonic's ear sudenly twitched to the sound of a bi-plane. "Ah ha! there you are!" Sonic exclaimed as he waved to the bright red plane which was carrying none other than Tails, Sonic's best buddy! Tails was the first to inform Sonic about the news that Eggman was in the process of building a theme park in the first place, so they decided to go check out if there was anything fishy going on on the day before the park was scheduled to open.
Not too far ago and high above, there was a large bi-plane flying through the bright sky. The person he was controlling it was none other than a yellow fox named Miles Prower. But his friends just call him Tails. And speaking of friends, his best friend and world-famous hero, Sonic the hedgehog, he had told him to meet him over near a large meadow. Something strange was going on and it had something to do with the mad genius, Dr. Eggman.
Tails looked down at his map as it showed directions to this so-called 'theme park'. "Almost there. I'm sure Sonic must be there already..." he said. He then heard a familiar voice as he looked down, seeing the blue hedgehog waving at him. "Hey Sonic!" Tails greeted, slowly landing his plane on the grass. He hopped right out of the plane and ran over to him. "I'm glad you showed up! This is the place I've been telling you about." He said.
"Hiya Tails" Sonic Greeted "Yeah, I see what ya mean about this place lookin kinda wierd, and with Eggman involved it can't be good". Sonic zipped over to the doors of the building and tried to open them, but it was useless. "Looks like the doors are locked.." Sonic sighed " Got any Ideas Tails?".
Tails walked over with his box of tools and brought out a screwdriver and other stuff. "Sure. I'll I gotta do it is unscrew knobs, fix the wires...and..." within a few seconds, the elevator suddenly started to work as it automatically opened the door. "And it's working!" he said, grinning. "The problem to opening it was that..." His ears flattened and did a sweat-dropped, seeing a pair of keys inside of it. He took them out and held them in front of Sonic. "The keys were in there all along..."
"Oooops! well at least we don't have to hot wire this elavator over here" Sonic chuckled since it looks like we've got the keys for it!". Sonic took the keys from tails and ran over to the start up part of the elevator and inserted the keys "Get ready Bud.." Sonic said as he turned the keys " I have a feeling this is gonna be one wild ride!". The elevator rumbled, and in a split second, it Shot up with a strong force along the needle like structure, speeding torward the sky!
Tails stepped inside of the elevator and grabbed a handle-bar. He nodded, getting ready for the ride as it had shot them up the rail. "Whoa!!" he exclaimed, holding the rail tightly. The acceleration of the 'vator was going quite fast. But not nearly as fast as Sonic though! "M-m-man! This thing had fast acceleration!" he said
"Heh heh" Sonic smirked "You call this fast?". The elevator continued to speed up along its rails, shooting through the clouds, and reached all the way up to space! "I still can't someone just left the keys layin' around like that" Sonic ponderd "its almost as if Eggman is begging for us to check this place out!".
Tails couldn't help but laugh. "Yeah, you're right. This is so unlike Eggman. He would normally make a huge killing making robot. Not a huge fun amusement-park." he said. Then suddenly, Eggman's voice appeared inside of an intercom.
"Hello happy people!.." Eggmans voice bellowed from the intercom "Buckle up as Eggman's ultra-accelerating elevator whisks you all to an interplanetary wonderland of fun!". Sonic and tails looked a bit puzzled as some static interupted, but continued to listen to whatever else the doctor had to say. "This amusement park has been constructed entirely out of a sense of remorse for my past transgretions and is in no way in connection with any sort of evil plot or missdeeds."
"Well thats a relief.." Sonic sarcastically said.
In just about no time, the elevator had reached its destination: The parks entrance. "C'mon Tails, lets check this place out!"
Tails folded his arms and rolled his eyes, hearing him still talking. Then when they finally reached the destination, he followed Sonic out. "I wonder how this place will work out before we could destroy it." he said.
