Syphon the Hedgehog, against his own Knowledge, is a Mimic. mimics are unknown entities that can take whatever shape they please, and also learn abilities that may otherwise be unlearnable. A mimic's fate is to destroy, but Syphon believes there's more to him than evil intentions. Syphon lives mainly as a drifter, and manages to find himself in many adventures before he has a chance to realize it.
